CLASS ACT PROGRAM
Step into the spotlight.
If you’re between the ages of 9 and 17, passionate about musical theatre, and based in (or within commuting distance of) Edmonton, we invite you to audition for an exciting season of training and performance.
Our year-long triple-threat program is designed to challenge, support, and inspire young performers at every stage of their artistic journey – with expert training in acting, singing, and dance, led by experienced industry professionals. Each program culminates in a fully staged musical production in Winter 2027.
This year, we are introducing two dedicated training streams:
- Junior Program (Ages 9–12) *No Audition Required
- Advanced Program (Ages 13–17) *Audition Required
Each stream is tailored to meet students where they are – building strong foundations while encouraging artistic growth, discipline, and confidence.

Junior Musical Theatre
Ages 9-12 | Full-Year Program
A supportive and engaging introduction to musical theatre training.
Students build foundational skills in acting, vocal technique, and dance, while exploring a wide range of musical theatre repertoire through scenes, songs, and choreography.
The program culminates in a fully staged musical production in Winter 2027.

Advanced Musical Theatre
Ages 13 – 17 | Full-Year Program

Designed for dedicated young performers ready to deepen their craft.
Students engage in focused training in acting, vocal performance, and dance, with an emphasis on technique, discipline, and artistic interpretation. This intensive program culminates in a fully staged MainStage musical production in Winter 2027.

3-Week Development Program for Singers
The 3-Week Development Program is designed to offer participants a shorter program to experience the intensive environment for which NUOVA has garnered an esteemed reputation.
5-Week Intensive Program for Singers
This 5-week intensive program is a must for those who wish to focus on further developing technique while simultaneously working on their performance skills.
Programme pour pianiste collaborateur – Cinq semaines
Ce programme permettra à des pianistes d’acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour devenir accompagnateur/accompagnatrice ou répétiteur/répétitrice.
Programme de mentorat
Conçus pour permettre à des chefs d’orchestre et des metteurs en scène d’avoir une expérience unique dans leur domaine.
Programme de travail-étude
Venez travailler sur nos productions en collaboration avec des professionnels du milieu théâtral tout en étant payé.
