Les bourses et subventions NUOVA sont attribuées sur la base de l’audition et d’une lettre de demande d’aide financière. Ces documents doivent être inclus dans le dossier de candidature. Les candidats retenus seront informés d’une réduction des frais de scolarité au moment de l’offre de programme, généralement en décembre.
Les bourses sont attribuées aux candidats ayant présenté une audition exceptionnelle. Les subventions sont attribuées selon les besoins financiers. La bourse Nico Castel est décernée à un participant faisant preuve d’une grande excellence musicale et d’une diction remarquable lors de l’audition.
Applications must be submitted alongside your program application. They cannot be accepted at a later date.
Once an offer has been made, a deposit is required to secure the placement. The remaining tuition is divided into monthly payments and is payable by post-dated cheques starting in January. Each payment schedule is outlined in the participant’s contract. Tuition must be paid in full before the program begins.

NUOVA Vocal Arts arranges on- and off-campus accommodation for participants enrolled in the Intensive Opera Programs. Participants may choose residence or request placement with a billet host family elsewhere in the city.
MacEwan University Apartments provide furnished group accommodation adjacent to campus. Options include bachelor suites, two-bedroom units with a shared kitchen and washroom, and four-bedroom units with two shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. NUOVA assigns rooms based on roommate requests.
NUOVA has a limited number of billet homes available. There is no charge to stay with a host family, but participants are expected to purchase tickets or ticket packages for their hosts to attend Festival performances.
Hosts provide a private furnished room, shared or private bathroom, linens, and access to kitchen and living spaces. Because hosts are located throughout Edmonton, participants should have their own transportation. Billeting is not available for the Ten-Day program.
Students may also arrange their own accommodation with friends or family in the Edmonton area.
