Les artistes-interpr\u00e8tes, metteurs en sc\u00e8ne et chefs d\u2019orchestre en devenir peuvent participer \u00e0 ce programme de cinq semaines afin d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir une exp\u00e9rience pratique et concr\u00e8te dans leur domaine. Les candidats et candidates doivent avoir une exp\u00e9rience pr\u00e9alable en op\u00e9ra ou en th\u00e9\u00e2tre musical, que ce soit \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9, dans le milieu communautaire ou professionnel. Les participants et participantes sont s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s en fonction de leur formation, de leur exp\u00e9rience, de leur int\u00e9r\u00eat manifeste pour le th\u00e9\u00e2tre professionnel et de leur potentiel. Les candidats et candidates doivent normalement avoir compl\u00e9t\u00e9 au moins deux ann\u00e9es de formation acad\u00e9mique pertinente accompagn\u00e9es d\u2019une exp\u00e9rience professionnelle connexe, ou poss\u00e9der une exp\u00e9rience professionnelle dans le domaine des arts de la sc\u00e8ne. En tant qu\u2019assistant metteur en sc\u00e8ne, les participants et participantes soutiendront les metteurs en sc\u00e8ne de la facult\u00e9 ainsi que les r\u00e9gisseurs dans leurs t\u00e2ches, qui inclut la notation de la mise en sc\u00e8ne et la documentation de la production. Ils et elles devront assister \u00e0 toutes les r\u00e9unions de production et pourront participer \u00e0 la mise en sc\u00e8ne. De nombreuses occasions leur seront offertes pour d\u00e9velopper leur technique et acqu\u00e9rir de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience lors des r\u00e9p\u00e9titions. Mentorship Programs May 26 – June 29, 2025 Aspiring perfomers, directors and conductors may participate in this five-week program to get hands-on, practical experience in their field. Applicants must have previous experience with opera or theatre on the college, community, and\/or professional level. Participants are selected on the basis of prior training, experience, demonstrated interest, and assessed potential in professional theatre. Participants normally will have completed at least two years of relevant academic training, with related professional experience, or will have experience in a related area of professional performing arts. Participants must read music proficiently. Knowledge of a foreign language is an asset, but not required. Opera Mentorship Program May 26- June 29th, 2025 APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2025 FESTIVAL\u00a0 Assistant Director Professional Internship May 26 – June 29, 2025 APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2025 FESTIVAL As an Assistant Director, participants will assist the faculty directors and work-study stage managers with blocking notation and production documentation. They will be required to attend every production meeting and may assist with staging. Assistant Directors will have the opportunity to stage scenes for a variety of public performances and concerts and this work will be monitored and guided by the professional directorial team. Upon completion of the Assistant Director Professional Internship, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Students may receive course credit depending on their institution and should discuss course credit with their faculty representative. Assistant Conductor Professional Internship May 26 – June 29, 2025 APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED FOR THE 2025 FESTIVAL Assistant Conductors will work directly with our music faculty, receiving valuable instruction in technique and musical leadership. They will learn practically through observing, coaching, and conducting, as well as take part in specifically designed forums to assess their individual questions and needs. There will be ample opportunity to develop technique and gain experience through conducting rehearsals. Based upon experience and at the discretion of the artistic team, the conducting intern may have the opportunity to conduct a dress rehearsal or matin\u00e9e mainstage performance. Upon completion of the Assistant Conductor Professional Internship, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
